Yves François Wilson

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Yves is a cinematographer and interdisciplinary artist whose work is about the image as a vessel for history. It is grounded in his love of urban subcultures, challenging visual ideas, and pushing the boundaries of light and digital capture.

The portfolio of work he created as a street photographer and graffiti artist gained him admission to Parsons and The New School.

During his undergraduate years he studied under artists who encouraged him to push the boundaries of his work and process to include writing, sculpture, photography, and video with a focus on story and connecting his West African and American heritages.

Most recently he has lensed projects for Netflix, PepsiCo, Vans, Sephora, BET, and Teen Vogue.
